Born in Zurich in the year 1970 I grew up in Rüschlikon and
Thalwil (two small towns at the lake of Zurich). When I was fifteen
years old I moved to the College in Immensee and after that started
to study computer science and economics at the ETH and University
of Zurich respectively. As a part of my studies I was able to live and
work in San Francisco for half a year. After receiving my diploma I
worked for a small company as a softwareengineer and systemengineer.
In my spare time I like to do sports (Karate, kendo, iceskating,
inlineskating, jogging, skiing), listening to music (lots of different
styles such as Depeche Mode, U2, The Cure, Laleh, Mew, Glashaus, Candlemass, Alphaville,

CAT5, Ladytron, Cradle of Filth, Fadgadget and many more), playing fantasy roleplaying tabletop games,
learning Swedish, Japanese, travelling and meeting friends.
Plans for the future include going back to Hawaii (holidays), discovering Scandinavia,
visiting japan and learning more about security, networking and distributed computing.
